摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the versatility of a seat for a vehicle capable of regulating an operation of a height adjusting mechanism during a vehicle collision from a rear side of the seat. <P>SOLUTION: This seat is provided with the height adjusting mechanism 20 for elevating a lower side frame 15 in relation to an upper rail 12 according to rotation of a planar rear link 14, a stopper link 27 rotatably connected to the upper rail 12 and a stopper pin 29 loosely inserted to interrupt a rotary locus of the rear link 14 in an engaging groove 26 provided at a distal end part of the stopper link 27 and formed in the rear link 14, to regulate the operation of the height adjusting mechanism 20 by engaging the stopper pin 29 to the engaging groove 26 during the vehicle collision from the rear side of the seat. The seat is provided with a bracket 30 for transmitting load applied to the rear link 14 to the upper rail 12 during the vehicle collision from the front of the seat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
