PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk array device for suppressing vibration when spinning up HDD. SOLUTION: The disk array device is provided with a plurality of disk drives and a controller for controlling the disk drives, and controls power of the disk drive for every disk group composed by the plurality of disk drives. A set of two disk drives composing an identical group of disks is arranged in one base member.
