<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a display device wherein an image is either expanded or contracted because of limitations on pixels that processing parts between a source of video signals and a display can handle, resulting in the breaking of dot correspondence between pixels, although the source of video signals and the display have equal numbers of pixels in horizontal and vertical directions because of limitations on components. <P>SOLUTION: Among combinations of numbers of horizontal and vertical pixels that the processing parts support, a combination that is one size greater than the numbers of horizontal and vertical pixels of the source of video signals is used, whereby a process is performed while one-to-one dot correspondence is maintained without extra expansion/contraction during the process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
