PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing device for accurately dispensing a needed amount of a liquid specimen, as to micro-discharge in particular. SOLUTION: This dispensing device comprises a syringe 1 having an internal space, a piston 2 reciprocating in contact with an inner face of the syringe, a branching means 3 having flow paths 4 into which a flow path from the piston is divided in two directions, and a nozzle 5 communicating with one of the flow paths for division via a tube. The other of the flow paths for division communicates with a pump 7, with a solenoid valve 6 disposed on a route therefor. The piston is reciprocated by a motor 13 comprising a shaft 9 connected to the piston, thereby causing a liquid to be sucked/discharged from an end of the nozzle. With a gate electrode disposed on an end part of the nozzle, a gate voltage is controlled so as to time it to the discharge, thereby improving liquid draining to allow minute amount/high-accuracy discharge.
