NEGATIVE ELECTRODE MATERIAL FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY, AND ELECTROCHEMICAL CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capable of manufacturing a negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery with higher cycle characteristics, and to provide its manufacturing method, a lithium ion secondary battery, as well as, an electrochemical capacitor.

SOLUTION: The negative electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises conductive powder, covering with graphite coating a surface of a material, capable of absorbing and releasing lithium ions, and Raman shift on the Raman spectrum of the graphite coating, develops broad peaks at 1,330 cm-1and 1,580 cm-1, intensity ratio I1330/I1580to be 1.51330/I1580<3.0.
