<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that can maintain comfort in a room even if a dedicated blow-out port is not prepared. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner (100) is equipped with a decorative panel (20), flaps (22a, 22b), and a control section (60). Blow-out ports (24a, 24b) are formed at the decorative panel (20). The flaps (22a, 22b) can be switched between a first airflow direction which is an air discharge direction to discharge within a predetermined airflow direction range from the blow-out ports (24a, 24b), and a second airflow direction, which is an air discharge direction to discharge further toward the wall of the room more than in the predetermined airflow direction range from the blow-out ports (24a, 24b). The control section (60) determines whether a temperature in the room is stabilized, and in the case of a first state that the temperature in the room is not stabilized, controls the switching of the flaps (22a, 22b) so that the first airflow direction is achieved.
