PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscous fluid joint capable of improving control responsiveness and control accuracy in transmission torque, by smoothly supplying silicone oil to an operation chamber from a storage chamber. SOLUTION: This viscous fluid joint has a pulley 3 and a driven shaft 4, the storage chamber 6 for storing the silicone oil O inside, a torque transmission part 7 for transmitting the torque to the driven shaft via the silicone oil supplied to the operation chamber 5, and a control mechanism 9 for controlling a supply quantity of the silicone oil to the operation chamber by changing the volume in the storage chamber. A part between the storage chamber, a fluid passage 8 and the torque transmission part is formed as a closed circuit, and a plunger piston 31 is arranged for expanding the volume of the operation chamber by retreating in a sliding hole 30 inside of the driven shaft in response to a pressure increase in the operation chamber.
