<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce blurring in dynamic image display while suppressing a peak power consumption in a tile type display device adapting an active matrix drive system and using an organic EL element. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of display parts 101 is grouped and controlled for each group without inserting black frames to the plurality of display parts 101 at the same time.
