PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular travel safety device more properly deciding possibility of contact between one's own vehicle and an oncoming vehicle. SOLUTION: This vehicular travel safety device includes: a course calculation means 13 calculating a course of another vehicle except the oncoming vehicle and except the own vehicle; and a course correction means 14 correcting an estimation course of the oncoming vehicle based on the course of the other vehicle calculated by the course calculation means 13. In the vehicular travel safety device, a contact possibility decision means 15 decides that there is the possibility of the contact when a difference of a position of the oncoming vehicle to the correction course corrected by the course correction means 14 is a prescribed difference threshold value or above.
