PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic voice reply apparatus capable of reducing loads of a user and a call center relating to updating image data or application, and further capable of utilizing latest image data or application. SOLUTION: An automatic voice response apparatus which transmits to a telephone set image and voice guidance data containing voice data and image data includes: a voice transmitting/receiving unit 202 for exchanging voice data with the telephone set; a packet transmitting/receiving unit 205 for exchanging image data with the telephone set; a control unit 201 and an SMS database 203 which cause the telephone set to transmit a request signal for requesting transmission of image and voice guidance data on the basis of a telephone number; and a control unit 201 and an image/voice database 204 which transmit the voice data of which the transmission is requested from the telephone set, to the telephone set via the voice transmitting/receiving unit 202, and transmit image data to the telephone set via the packet transmitting/receiving unit 205.
