PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a function for improving signal quality by signal synthesis, when the function for improving signal quality by signal synthesis is not effectively utilized. SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus 1 having a signal synthesis processor 12 which synthesizes respective received signals received by a plurality of antenna elements 11a and 11b has: a first measuring part 15 which measures a throughput when synthesizing the received signals by the signal synthesis processor 12; and a second measuring part 16 which measures a throughput when reception is carried out by the single antenna element 11b. The wireless communication apparatus 1 generates control information for controlling a signal transmission condition of a signal transmitter depending on comparison results of the throughput measured by the first measuring part 15 and that measured by the second measuring part 16 to transmit the control information to the transmitter.
