PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet connecting device capable of shortening the sheet carrying stop time in interconnecting sheets in a butting joint method. SOLUTION: A film connecting device 10 is provided with suction holders 12, 14, tape adhesion rollers 16, 18, press rollers 20, 22, guide rollers 24, 26, 28, a cutter 30 and a frame 32. The tape adhesion roller 18 is constituted to stick a first connection tape 36 to an old sheet and a new sheet by rotating to a sheet cutting direction along a guide face of the suction holder 12 while pressing the old sheet and new sheet against the suction holder 12.
