The capillary tube (200) is partly extended along an optical path and is arranged between a source of light and a receiver. Two sections are provided with two diameters, which are different to each other. A molded element is formed in the latter section of the capillary tube, where the two diameters are adjusted in a different manner. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device for liquid separation; and (2) a method for the formation of capillary tube.
