<p>Exercise apparatus 2 for improving a player's ability in hitting a ball, which exercise apparatus 2 comprises a pendulum device 4, mounting means 6 which mounts the pendulum device 4 such that the pendulum device 4 is only able to swing from side to side in one plane, at least one hitting area 8 on the pendulum device 4, and striker means 10 for hitting the area 8, the striker means 10 comprising a handle 12 and a striker head 14, and the exercise apparatus 2 being such that in use the striker means 10 is held in the player's hand and is used to hit the hitting area 8 such that the pendulum device 4 swings backwards and forwards, the player using different hitting rhythms for enhancing the player's ability in hitting the ball.</p> |
