A filtering device of a washing machine is provided to increase the washing efficiency of laundry by applying a jetting function of the washing water. A filtering device of a washing machine comprises a cap(200) and a closed filter unit(300). The filtering device is mounted at an outlet(820) formed on the inside wall of a washing tub. The filter device filters the foreign material included in the washing water pumped with the torque of the washing tub. The cap has a plurality of spray holes. A plurality of spray holes sprays the washing water within the washing tub. The filter unit is detachably combined with the cap. The filter unit filters the foreign material from the washing water discharged from the outlet.
