MARKER FOR DIAGNOSING AIRWAY HYPERREACTIVITY IN ASTHMATIC PATIENTS USING POLYMORPHISMS OF PPARGC1B GENE

A biomarker for diagnosing airway hypersensitivity reaction in asthma using single nucleotide polymorphism of PPARGC1B gene is provided to diagnose the severity of asthma. A biomarker for diagnosing airway hypersensitivity reaction in asthma comprises a polynucleotide selected from polynucleotides comprising 20-25 DNA sequences having T base. A method for diagnosing airway hypersensitivity reaction in asthma using the biomarker comprises: a step of preparing DNA from a sample; a step of observing the presence of biomarker on the DNA; and a step of determining the airway hypersensitivity.
