A thermistor (1) has terminal electrodes (3a and 3b) formed at the two ends of a thermistor body (2). A first lead wire (9a) is made longer than a second lead wire (9b). Both the leading ends of the first and second lead wires (9a and 9b) are cut in such slope shapes that metal wires (12a and 12b) are exposed to the surface. Moreover, the thermistor body (2) is arranged in line with a predetermined side position of the first lead wire (9a) so that the first lead wire (9a) and the terminal electrode (3a) may have a predetermined angle (theta) at their side face return portion (5a). The terminal electrode (3a) and the first lead wire (9a) are connected through a solder (10a), and the second lead wire (9b) and the terminal electrode (3b) are connected through a solder (10b). Thus, the temperature sensor with the lead wires can avoid a mechanical stress even if it is loaded with an excessive thermal stress, which is stable in electric connections and which has an excellent detecting sensibility and a high reliability.
