<p>A treating apparatus for solid containing a hazardous substance, such as organohalogen compound, that is capable of decomposing any hazardous substance, such as organohalogen compound, contained in an exhaust gas generated in a housing by microwave heating. There is disclosed a treating apparatus (1) for solid containing a hazardous substance, such as organohalogen compound, comprising a housing (30) for introduction of a solid containing a hazardous substance, such as organohalogen compound, and microwave irradiation means (31) for irradiating the solid containing a hazardous substance introduced in the housing (30) with microwave, wherein the housing (30) in its interior is provided with ultraviolet irradiating means (2).</p> |
