Provided is a secondary cell charge method including a step [a] for performing a constant current charge with a first current when the secondary cell voltage has reached a first voltage; and a step [b] for performing a constant voltage charge with a first voltage. When the temperature of the secondary cell exceeds a reference temperature in step [a], step [b] is switched to step [b1] in which the constant voltage charge is performed with a second voltage when the voltage of the secondary cell has reached the second voltage lower than the first voltage, step [b2] in which charge is performed with a second current when the temperature of the secondary cell has been lowered than a reference temperature after step [b1], and step [b3] in which the constant voltage charge is performed with the first voltage when the voltage of the secondary cell has reached the first voltage.
