PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate distance measurement by measuring a propagating time in precision less than the cycle of a control clock of a wireless circuit in a distance measuring communication device for measuring a distance between a call machine 1 and a response machine 2 from the propagating time of an electric wave propagating between the call machine 1 and the response machine 2. SOLUTION: In the distance measuring communication device for measuring a distance between the call machine 1 and the response machine 2 from the propagating time of an electric wave propagating between the call machine 1 and the response machine 2, the response machine 2 detects a sign signal necessary for distance measurement from a call signal of the call machine 1 in precision less than the cycle of the control clock, and highly accurately measures a distance by being reproduced to be returned.
