PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency in recirculation of condensate liquid after evaporation and to prevent corrosion of an inside of an internal combustion engine caused by the recirculation. SOLUTION: The control device for an internal combustion engine is provided with a collection means 44 collecting unburned component of fuel contained in exhaust gas discharged to an exhaust pipe 40 from a combustion chamber 31 to a storage tank 45 as condensate liquid by condensing the same, evaporation means 521 and 70 evaporating the unburned component contained in the condensate liquid by raising temperature of the condensate liquid in addition to or instead of reducing pressure in the storage tank, and a recirculation means 50 executing a recirculation process for recirculating evaporated unburned component to an intake pipe 20 or an upstream of a catalyst 41 provided in the exhaust pipe.
