<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus equipped with flaw prevention structure for preventing production of a flaw caused by minute foreign matter invaded between a diffusion plate or a polarizing plate and an optical sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the display apparatus equipped with both the diffusion plate 18 and the polarizing plate 30, the diffusion plate 18 has pillar-shaped projections 18b of size in a range of almost 100 to 200 μm on one side thereof, the polarizing plate 30 has pillar-shaped projections 30a of size in a range of almost 50 to 100 μm on both sides thereof, the pillar-shaped projections 18b, 30a have respectively a shape of a truncated cone or a truncated pyramid becoming thinner in an outer surface direction and are formed at random with a center interval in a range of almost 1 to 2 mm. The pillar-shaped projections 18b, 30a assure voids which are larger than size of the minute foreign matter between the diffusion plate 18 and a light diffusion sheet 19a or between the polarizing plate 30 and a prism sheet 19b to prevent an optical member such as the light diffusion sheet 19a and the prism sheet 19b from being flawed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
