PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping structure in an air conditioner for suppressing dropping of dew formation generated on the surface of refrigerant piping to a functional component even when the functional component is arranged immediately below the refrigerant piping. SOLUTION: In the piping structure in the air conditioner 1, the air conditioner 1 includes a first part 101 which is part of a first suction pipe 28 arranged in a space in the vertical upper direction of an expansion valve 25 and with a second part 102 which is continued to the first part 101 and is part of the first suction pipe 28 extended vertically upwardly from the first part 101. The piping structure includes a cushion material 103 provided at least on the outer peripheral face of the first part 101 and with a heat insulating cylinder 104 continued to the cushion material 103 on the outer peripheral face of the second part 102 and having a cylindrical shape with larger thickness in the diametrical direction of the first suction pipe 28 than that of the cushion material 103.
