摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: scattered liquid adheres to a contact part of a capping apparatus and exists between a nozzle surface and the contact part, which disables the contact part from coming into tight contact with the nozzle surface, so that airtightness of an internal space is decreased and a desired negative pressure is not generated, thereby cleaning of a nozzle cannot be surely performed to disable a discharge recovery process of the nozzle. SOLUTION: A cleaning means is installed which performs cleaning of the contact surface 51s of the contact part 51. The cleaning means has a roller 75 formed with a member having a fiber material, such as cloth and the like, and a porous material, such as sponge and the like, on the surface, a moving member 70 moving the roller 75 in the right and left direction in figure while supporting it, and a motor M2 moving and driving the moving member 70. The motor M2 is operated by the control of a control part 10 to move the moving member 70 in the right and left direction shown by a white arrow in figure.
