PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus capable of recovering an object microorganism in high efficiency while enabling the automation and laborsaving of the operation. SOLUTION: An apparatus for recovering microorganism is provided with: a stirring bar 106; and an antibody 62 bonded to the stirring bar 106 and capable of bonding a microorganism 63, and recovers and captures the detection target microorganism by filtering a detection object water using a membrane 101 having a pore diameter smaller than the diameter of the detection object microorganism. A causal microorganism (protozoa, bacterium, virus, etc.) of water-base infection diseases in a water-treating process, etc., can be monitored by this apparatus in high efficiency and frequency.
