<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent a medical accident due to the use of an inappropriate treatment tool without requiring examination staff to take time and labor. <P>SOLUTION: When an examination start is indicated, the CPU 106 of a processor reads patient information of a patient to be an object from an information management server 14. Then, the CPU 106 reads contraindication information 120a relevant to the object patient from contraindication information DB 114, based on the patient information. After reading the contraindication information 120a, the CPU 106 reads classification information 84a with the use of a tag reader 80, which is stored in the RFID tag of each treatment tool 60 placed on a top tray. The CPU 106 determines whether the usage of each treatment tool 60 placed on the top tray is prohibited or not based on the contraindication information 120b and respective kinds of classification information 84b, determines that the treatment tool 60 is not appropriate with respect to the object patient when the treatment tool 60 with the prohibition of usage is determined to exist, and then, performs announcement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
