PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence by wireless communication signals exerted to radiation image signals during read from a radiation detector and to reduce noise in the radiation image signals, in a radiation image detector for reading the radiation image signals from a radiation detection part which detects radiation transmitted through an object and outputting the radiation image signals as the wireless communication signals.

SOLUTION: The carrier frequency of a cassette transmitter-receiver 48 during the read of the radiation image signals from the radiation detector 40 is made lower than the carrier frequency of the cassette transmitter-receiver 48 at the time other than the time of the read.
