PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule-containing lubricant composition so as to timely maintain an oil membrane having an appropriate membrane thickness, and a rolling apparatus. SOLUTION: This rolling apparatus having an inside member having an orbital plane at its outer surface, an outside member having an orbital plane opposing to the orbital plane of the inside member and a plurality of rolling bodies arranged as freely rolling between both of the orbital planes is sealed with the microcapsule-containing lubricant composition containing the microcapsules including a highly viscous lubrication oil surrounded by a membrane material of a water-soluble polymer between the rolling bodies and both of the orbital planes.
