PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens interchangeable electronic camera capable of taking excellent photographs at various angles using various interchangeable lenses without impairing operability. SOLUTION: A lens device includes a focusing lens means, an operating means for permitting and forbidding focusing operation by the operation of a user, and a control means for controlling to move the focusing lens means to a focusing point according to the operation of the operating means and a permitting/forbidding control signal from an imaging device body.
