PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber's home side optical network unit capable of acquiring LAN equipment setting data from a communication signal transmitted between itself and a center and outputting the acquired data to LAN equipment. SOLUTION: An ONU function section 120 includes a setting data acquiring means 160, and the setting data acquiring means 160 acquires the LAN equipment setting data while using a predetermined channel of a communication signal termination-processed by a termination processing means 121. The setting data acquiring means 160 sends the acquired LAN equipment setting data from a second serial signal terminal 124 through signal lines 161a, 161b that are setting data transmitting means to a second serial I/F section 142 and further outputs the data to the LAN equipment 70.
