PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-component epoxy resin composition having excellent storage stability, productivity, and ease of handling characteristics such as work efficiency and giving homogeneous superior cured product characteristic similarly to a two-component epoxy resin composition. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises a liquid epoxy resin (A) having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule, an acid anhydride (B), an accelerator (C), and a curing retarder (F) obtained by reacting a proton donor (D) represented by general formula (1) with a trialkoxysilane compound (E) represented by general formula (2). In formula (1), Ar<SP>1</SP>represents an organic group having an aromatic ring or a heterocyclic ring. In general formula (2), R<SP>1</SP>represents hydrogen atom or 1-10C organic group, R<SP>2</SP>represents 1-10C organic group, and R<SP>3</SP>represents 1-4C aliphatic group.
