Front and rear housings (1, 2) are coaxially arranged at a pipeline axis. A seat (1a) movably fastened at the housings and the seal exhibit a rotation symmetric form at the pipeline axis. A sealing surface of the seal exhibits a conical shape. The seal is fastened to a disk (7) or represents an integral part of the disk. A rotary movement on a spindle (10) within medium-contact areas is converted into a linear movement along the pipeline axis. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Coaxial seat valve for installation at a pipeline axis for controlling flow of a medium e.g. liquid or gas such as liquid natural gas and liquid nitrogen for an industrial application, through a pipeline.
