PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure for an automobile capable of certainly and quickly sinking a sitting person to a space part in rear-end collision. SOLUTION: A seat back 1 is provided with a back frame 2; a left projection piece 3a and a right projection piece 3b; and a tension-attachment member 4. The tension-attachment member 4 is tension-attached to respective front ends of the left projection piece 3a and the right projection piece 3b so as to be laid, thereby, at a front surface side of the back frame 2, the space part 7 for sinking the sitting person is divided/formed by the back frame 2, the left projection piece 3a, the right projection piece 3b and the tension-attachment member 4. Further, the left projection piece 3a and the right projection piece 3b are projected out from the back frame 2 to a front side approximately coincident in a longitudinal direction.
