PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dynamically reconfigurable operation unit with high area efficiency. SOLUTION: An operation unit connects logical operation units 100-107, 200-203, 300, 301, and 400 in the shape of a tree. Selectors 500 and 501 select the output from any one of the logical operation units 100-107, and the output from any one of the logical operation units 200-203. A selector 502 selects the output from any one of the logical operation units 100-107, the output from any one of the logical operation units 200-203, and the output from the logical operation unit 300 or 301. A selector 503 selects the output from any one of the logical operation units 100-107, the output from any one of the logical operation units 200-203, the output from the logical operation unit 300 or 301, and the output from the logical operation unit 400.
