PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device comprising a driving side shaft and a driven side shaft arranged side by side concentrically along the axial direction in a relatively rotatable manner, and a clutch spring wound between the two shafts, for surely preventing the biting of the clutch spring into a boundary portion between the two shafts. SOLUTION: At the end of the driving side shaft 42, a rib 42a is formed which is protruded toward the driven side shaft 44 in the outer diameter direction and in the axial direction. The rib 42a has a cutout portion 42b formed at one place in the circumferential direction. On both end faces of the rib 42a adjacent to the cutout portion 42b, inclined faces 42c, 42c are formed which are inclined toward the cutout portion 42b. On part of the peripheral face of the driving side shaft 42 at the inner periphery side of the clutch spring 46, a closing member 48 is arranged which has a closing portion 48b to be inserted into the cutout portion 42b. The closing portion 48b closes the boundary portion while running over a boundary line existing in the cutout portion 42b between the driving side shaft 42 and the driven side shaft 44 to prevent the biting of the clutch spring 46 in a joint as the boundary line.
