A method and an apparatus for processing a spam are provided to supply spam degree of a transmitter in score to a receiver by converting the spam degree of a reported person into a score based on the spam reliability of the spam reporter. Communication terminals(101,102) transmit a spam report including a specific phone number to be reported, and a spam control server(151) calculates a spam evaluation index for the reported phone number based on the spam report reliability of a spam reporter. When requesting to call a communication terminal corresponding to the reported phone number, the spam control server transmits the spam assessment index to a destination communication terminal and displays the index.
