<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method for suppressing degradation and variation of the joining quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser welding method, a wire strand 11 is joined to a metal terminal 17 by a weld part 19. In the laser welding method, a cable 13 is prepared, in which the wire strand 11 is coated with a coating body 12, the wire strand 11 is exposed by peeling the coating body 12 of the cable 13, and at least one of the exposed wire strand 11 and the coating body 12 is held by clamps 14a, 14b. By cutting the exposed wire strand 11, the exposure length of the wire strand 11 is adjusted, and while inclining the cable 13 with respect to the surface of the metal terminal 17 and arranging it, the exposed wire strand 11 is abutted on the metal terminal 17 and the wire strand 11 is joined to the metal terminal 17 by irradiating the exposed wire strand 11 with a laser beam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
