PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid collecting system which facilitates attachment and detachment of a waste liquid collector and can stabilize an attachment state of the waste liquid collector, and to provide a liquid jetting apparatus equipped with the waste liquid collecting system. SOLUTION: The waste liquid collecting system is equipped with a flexible tube 43 which discharges a liquid as a waste liquid, a waste ink tank 27 which is made attachable and detachable to a predetermined attachment position 31 pointed by a downstream end of the flexible tube 43 and can receive the liquid discharged from the downstream end of the flexible tube 43 as the waste liquid while it is attached to the attachment position 31, and a holding means which holds the waste ink tank 27 in a positioning state to the attachment position 31. The holding means is constituted of a coil spring 80 which urges the waste ink tank 27 to move from the attachment position 31 towards a take out direction, and a securing step part 40 which secures to regulate movement to the take out direction for the waste ink tank 27 in a state of being urged by the coil spring 80.
