<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration in the light emission quality of a display device by the slight light emission of a non-displayed display pattern and the decline of the light emission luminance of a displayed display pattern due to light leakage among light guide plates. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 22 on the back surface side, in which the display pattern 28 is formed in a display pattern forming area 29 and the light guide plate 24 on the front surface side, in which the display pattern 34 is formed are piled up with a light-shielding sheet 23 held therebetween. A light source 25 is installed facing the end face of the light guide plate 22, and a light source 26 is installed, facing the end face of the light guide plate 24. The light-shielding sheet 23 is in a two-layer structure, a low-reflectivity layer 30 on the front surface side is formed of a black low-reflectivity material, and a high-reflectivity layer 31 on the back surface side is formed of a white or mirror surface high-reflectivity material. Also, on the light-shielding sheet 23, a region facing the display pattern forming area 29 provided on the light guide plate 22 on the back surface side is cut out into a window shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
