PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture or assemble a belt using an element with a slipping-out preventive part of a ring, arranged on both right and left sides. SOLUTION: This element 6 has at least two saddle surfaces 10a, 10b and 10c having a step height for arranging rings 9a, 9b and 9c between both right-left side surfaces 6A connecting with pulleys 2 and 3. The ring 9 has at least two kinds of mutually fittable rings 9a, 9b and 9c having the peripheral length mutually different in a central part in the thickness direction. The ring 9c having the short peripheral length is also arranged on the saddle surface 10c in a relatively low part of the saddle surfaces having the step height, and the rings 9a and 9b having the long peripheral length are arranged on the saddle surfaces 10a and 10b in a relatively high part of the saddle surfaces having the step height.
