PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an internal combustion engine capable of preventing a rapid flow of a residual gas into a cylinder when an intake flow control valve is opened. SOLUTION: The intake device 1 of the internal combustion engine includes a partition wall 3 provided inside an intake port 2 along a flow direction of intake and for dividing a part of the intake port 2 into a first flow path 4 and a second flow path 5, and an intake flow control valve 11 for changing an opening of the second flow path 5. An opening part 14 for connecting the first flow path 4 and the second flow path 5, and a flap 15 for opening and closing the opening part 14 are provided to the partition wall 3. The flap 15 is provided such that it opens the opening part 14 by displacing from a position closing the opening part 14 to the side of the first flow path 4 due to the intake flow passing through the first flow path 4.
