PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body measuring device capable of being introduced at a low cost by a simple structure and capable of measuring the body size such as the abdominal girth and chest girth. SOLUTION: The body measuring device includes: a measuring table 2 which rotates with a subject on it; a distance meter 3 for measuring the distance to the surface of the body of the subject on the measuring table 2; a camera 4 for photographing the subject on the measuring table to determine the position for measurement on the surface of the body of the subject; a height adjusting means for adjusting the height of the distance meter 3 to adjust the position to be measured by the distance meter 3 to the position for measurement on the surface of the body of the subject based on the image captured by the camera 4; and a means for computing the circumferential length at the position for measurement on the surface of the body by measuring the distance to the surface of the body of the subject on the measuring table 2 by the distance meter 3 while rotating the measuring table 2.
