PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of executing a normal pattern variation performance in an early stage even when abnormality occurs in a pattern variation performance relating signal or a checksum signal outputted from a first sub control part to a second sub control part. SOLUTION: A second control signal required for executing the pattern variation performance is generated in a sub control part 106, and it is outputted to a performance control part 110. The performance control part 110 determines whether or not there is abnormality in the second control signal inputted from the sub control part 106. When it is determined that there is the abnormality in the second control signal, an abnormality specifying signal indicating abnormal contents is outputted from the performance control part 110 to the sub control part 106. Receiving the abnormality specifying signal, the second control signal required for executing the pattern variation performance is outputted from the sub control part 106 to the performance control part 110 again.
