The arrangement comprises a coil cavity (11) and pulling eyelets arranged outside the coil cavity. A tie beam (20) is arranged in freely positioning manner relative to a commercial vehicle frame (10). A flexible pulling unit (21) is connected on one side with the tie beams and on the other side with a pulling eyelet of the commercial vehicle frame. The pulling unit is adapted to clamp the tie beam in the usage against a front surface (31) of a coil (30) or clamping belt arranged in the coil cavity. An independent claim is included for a method for securing a load with an arrangement.
