PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate control of a pulling jig by eliminating a dedicated pulling jig for terminal pull out. SOLUTION: The connector 1 has a terminal fitting 40 equipped with an engagement portion 41, a terminal housing chamber 11 in which the terminal fitting 40 is housed, a lance 21 having flexibility, and an engagement portion 22 of the lance 21 protruding into the terminal housing chamber 11, and the engagement portion 41 is engaged with a locking portion 22 and the terminal fitting 40 is supported in the terminal housing chamber 11. The connector 1 includes a passive portion 23 which is formed obliquely to insertion direction of the terminal on the rear side of the locking portion 22 of the lance 21, and an engagement releasing hole 31 which is formed in a long hole shape on both side walls 13 opposed to in the terminal housing chamber 11 so that the passive portion 23 may protrude to one end side, and by sliding a rod material 60 inserted on the other end side of the engagement releasing hole 31 to one end side, and pushing the passive portion 23 by the rod material 60, the lance 21 is bending deformed and the engagement of the locking portion 22 and the engagement portion 41 is released.
