PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board disk player, wherein a disk, a display panel and the like are prevented from being projected when the occurrence of vehicle accident or the occurrence of accident is foreseen. SOLUTION: The disk player includes: a turntable which is provided in the main body of the disk player and rotates a disk medium; a drive unit including a pickup which can read information recorded in the disk medium; a transporting mechanism for inserting the disk medium into the drive unit and discharging; and a control part for controlling the transporting mechanism in response to a danger signal generated when a vehicle mounting the disk player collide to an obstruction or when collision to the obstruction is foreseen, and pulling the disk medium in the drive unit when the disk medium is in an eject holding state.
