A compressed natural gas pressure regulator for a vehicle is provided to protect the engine system preferentially because the cover blocks that the high pressure compression natural gas of cover is flowed in into the engine system through the overflow cut off valve way through the back pressure line. A compressed natural gas pressure regulator for a vehicle comprises a first safety valve, a second safety valve(160), and an overflow cut off valve unit(150). The first safety valve is connected to a low pressure compressed gas path(112). The first safety valve is opened in a first preset pressure or higher pressure in order to prevent abnormal pressure rise of the low pressure compressed gas path. The second safety valve is connected to a cover diaphragm chamber(121). The second safety valve is opened in a second preset pressure which is lower than the first preset pressure in order to prevent abnormal pressure rise of the cover diaphragm chamber. The overflow cut off valve unit comprises an overflow cut off pipe and an overflow cut off valve. The overflow cut off pipe connects an intake manifold and manifold connector(122) of a vehicle. The overflow cut off valve is prepared inside the overflow cut off pipe.
