<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating taro, which simply and rapidly separates and removes taro that has hard palatability and is not suitable for eating, so-called "Gari" without influencing qualities of taro before cooking. <P>SOLUTION: Taro is separated based on specific gravity.
