The method involves using at least two transceivers for data transmission between a transmitter and a desired receiver. The data are divided into packets (2) of given length and provided with a header (1) identifying both the transmitter and the receiver. At least a first radio channel (71) is used for transmitting all data packets. At least a second radio channel (72) is used for transmitting information used for the connection set-up between the transceivers.
