An input apparatus and an electronic device thereof are provided to realize the accurate input of information and prevent the malfunction by optimally setting up the sensitivity of an input detector depending on the environment of a user. An input detector(66) detects location information obtained by a contact operation of a manipulation body to a capacitive input sensor. A sensitivity detecting unit(72) detects sensitivity information obtained with a contact operation of the manipulation body to the capacitive sensitivity sensor. A controller determines whether the output level of the location information is adjusted based on the sensitivity information. A sensitivity adjusting unit(50) adjusts the output level of the location information based on the determined result.
